The Village of Bramford is to receive a new bus service in April

Today Ipswich Buses and Suffolk County Council announced that a new bus service between Bramford and Ipswich will begin operating on 15 April.

The 8B will create a new link between the villages of Bramford and Sproughton and the employment areas of Eastern Gateway and Farthing Road Industrial Estate to the town of Ipswich.

The new service will receive a proportion of BSIP 2 funding allocated to Suffolk County Council by the UK Government, following a successful bid made by Ipswich Buses and Cllr Chris Chambers (Gipping Valley) in collaboration with Bramford Parish Council. The 8B will provide an hourly bus service between 7am and 7pm and will operate on Monday and Saturday.
